During Dave’s 15 years at ServiceMaster (1984-1999), he worked closely with Bill Pollard to edit and promote Bill’s first book. After Bill and Dave both retired from ServiceMaster, they have continued their relationship and Bill has written two more books.

Even though these books were written some time ago, they are still in print and still provide valuable information and insight for today’s world. For example, a new book by Al Erisman titled The ServiceMaster Story: Navigating Tension between People and Profit quotes heavily from these books.
